Wedding Flowers...

Our dear friends, Katey and Kyle, are getting married one day shy of Halloween! As newlyweds, we understand the pressure that builds up (and up) the last month before the wedding, so we offered our hands to willingly do whatever manual labor needs to be done.

I am so glad K&K put us on floral duty, fabric floral duty that is. We have created over 25 fabric flowers for the wedding party and the couple's families. The bridesmaids will wear the ivory chiffon and tulle flowers attached to a sash of the same color. It will be a look of perfection against their navy J.Crew dresses. The boys' boutonniere's will be made of the same material but placed on a pin to be attached to their gray vests. Grandmothers and grandfathers will receive the same pins as the groomsmen, but the g-mas have some seed beads sewn in the center (for extra pizazz)! The mothers of the bride and groom are going to have special flowers made as hairclips.

I can't wait to see how it all ties together. It will be so beautiful. This is just one of the creative and unique touches K&K have added to their wedding to keep it original and extra-special. Love them!!

I am really enjoying making these fabric flowers. I am thinking about exploring all different shapes and sizes. Let me know if you have a request. You just might get one for your next birthday!!
