A Message from Cody-bear

Why hello there, I am Cody-bear.

I am sure you have heard of me,

seeing as my parents adore me and take pictures of me constantly,

but if you haven't, I am the beloved cat of Taylor & Alex.

I am at home while my parents slave at their workplaces.

They never let me leave,

so I am thinking of starting my own column on this here blog to help pass the time.

I sure am glad that the weather outside is getting nice

because Mama opens the windows and I get to stick my face right up to the screen

and imagine I am chasing the squirrels down below.

I like to sit there for about 14 hours a day, in between my naps, of course.

Sometimes, I even run around the apartment "chasing" squirrels.

Ma and Pa don't really get it, they just laugh and make fun of me.

They think I am going "crazy" -- what do they know?

Anyway, for all those outdoor cats,

enjoy your freedom and chase a squirrel.

That's all for me today.

Time to curl up for a nap.
