Student Work: Creative Color Wheels

Remember this project?

I love this Art 1 project!
The Creative Color Wheel project is quite simple but it sounds complicated.

The students are give primary colors only and 
have to mix the three secondary colors
and the six tertiary colors.
Then, they have to make a tint and shade of each hue.

The only stipulations for their designs are 
the colors must be in the correct order according to the color wheel
and the tints and shades for each hue must be of consistent value and placement around the design.

Students love having the freedom to be creative and think outside of the box.
