Yesterday,
Alex & I
watched
OVER 12 HOURS
of television.
****************************
It was glorious.
****************************
You see...
we are waiting on my sweet little nephew to be born
all the way up in Chicago.
His due date was Tuesday, February 21
but he has yet to arrive.
Naturally, I thought we would be up north this weekend
oooo-ing and ahhhh-ing over my bro's newborn.
No such luck.
With absolutely no plans yesterday,
we took full advantage of our desire to be lazy
and maximized it to the fullest.
It started with me falling absolutely in lu-huv
with Downton Abbey.
Hulu has the first season available
and PBS.org has the second.
and PBS.org has the second.
We watched the entire first season
{7 hour-long epidsodes}
in our first bout of extreme laziness.
Once we realized it was nearly five o'clock,
we thought to our selves,
"Heck with it! We've been on the couch all day,
let's stay here all evening as well."
So, once the first season of Downton Abbey was complete
we moved on to Friday Night Lights,
also available on Hulu.
It was a rough transition at first to go from
early 20th century England
to 21st century Dillon,Texas
but we managed.
**********************
Although I am slightly ashamed by our lack of activity
it truly was a glorious day.
{P.S. I highly recommend BOTH shows!}

Friday Night Lights is one of my most favorite shows ever. Get ready for waterworks, drama, and a really cool soundtrack. Heyoo!
