The Tragedy of First Position

My mom pinned this video last week

and I about peed my pants watching it.

I am pretty sure she pinned it
 because she thinks she will have a video much like this one
of my daughter struggling to get into first position.

All I can say,
is if this is any prediction of our baby girl's dancing abilities
a.) it will prove that she is my daughter
b.) I will be wearing a diaper to her recitals.

I am sure you have heard about Invisible Children's new awareness campaign

against Joseph Kony but in case you haven't this is definitely worth watching.

My students and I watched this together.

It is amazing to hear their responses and to discuss the role of visuals in persuasion.

With that being said, I always like to view any sort of propaganda

with a clear understanding of the issue and organization behind it.
