Yesterday was my birthday
and it was such a wonderful day.
Friends sent me cards with my favorite animal on them.
I went to lunch at Cafe Lou Lou's with some of my besties.
Then we proceeded to the mall to shop
where I was peer-pressured into buying these wild ones:
What do you think?
I am still not convinced that these pants don't make me look naked with leprosy
but with a white tank and wedges or a denim button-up and sandals they might work....
...right?
After lunching and afternoon shopping,
I came home to the sweetest hubs in the world.
Alex had asked me earlier this month what I wanted for my birthday.
Since we just bought a house and have been spending a pretty penny fixin' her up
and are traveling to Charleston, SC later this month which is known for its antique and art scene
and I do hope to make a purchase,
and I do hope to make a purchase,
I didn't think a gift was really necessary.
In its place I requested a night in
complete with a husband cooked meal, tv-watching, and pajamas.
Alex did not disappoint.
He prepared my favorites:
Diet Coke
Homemade bean & cheese burritos
Homemade guacamole
Trader Joe's tortilla chips
Fresh Market white & black cookies (which I eat straight down the middle, in case you were wondering)
And what do you know...
that stinker got me a gift certificate for a mani & pedi.
He is too good to me, too too good.
Thanks to all that wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday!
It sure did mean a lot.
