This weekend we had the honor and pleasure of celebrating
the marriage of our dear friends, Amanda and Julio.
With festivities starting Thursday night,
we had a full weekend of rejoicing in the commitment
these two lovebirds were making.
Alex had the privileged of being Julio's best man,
and I am so proud of my husband's humble heart
and willingness to always serve others.
Without bragging too much, let me just say,
he was an amazing best man.
Lucky for me, both my sister-in-law, Blair,
and I were in the bridal party.
This meant I got to spend extra time with my three-week old nephew
while B & I passed him back and forth getting ready.
I have to say, Blair deserves mad props for being such a trooper the whole weekend.
She handled being a first time mom to a newborn
and being very involved in a best friend's wedding
with such grace I can't even describe it.
The Catholic ceremony was absolutely stunning,
as were the bride and groom themselves.
The reception was off-the-chain;
complete with gelato, a photobooth,
a live band and a DJ,
(obviously} dancing,
... oh, and a hired breakdancer.
It was an exceptional weekend
and I look forward to celebrating again with the new
Mr. and Mrs.
when they return from their honeymoon!
Congrats, A&J!
