Easy as Pie DIY

Inspired by one of my best friend's mother,
I decided to make a tiered platter
using a bowl, a plate, and a candlestick holder.
My friend's ma makes elaborate sets of tiered platters
with the most stunning combinations of vintage ware.
I decided to start simple
and I am mighty pleased with the results.

Supplies:
-1 bowl from Home Goods
-1 plate from Home Goods
-1 antique candlestick holder
-strong adhesive (not Elmer's but the good stuff)

After cleaning all surfaces,
I added adhesive to the inside of the candlestick holder.

I found that the bottom of the candlestick holder
fit perfectly with the bottom of the bowl,
so I glued it upside down.

Once I glued all the surfaces that needed to be adhered,
I let it set for 24 hours before moving.

And... Voila!
Easy-peasy tiered platter.

I can't wait to put it to use
and to make more!!
