Student Work: Still-Life Drawings

After several weeks of blind contour drawings, 

timed gesture drawings,

and value studies, 

my Art 1 students (... thought I was crazy ... 

I only said, "Draw what you see with your eyes not what you think you see" 

about 800 times over the past few weeks) 

were assessed on their observational skills

in a three object still-life.
