... I'm going to be a MOMMA!

which just so happens to be Alex's birthday!

How much fun would that be?

I am 15 weeks today

and I must say the first trimester is not for pansies.

With that being said,

I had a relatively easy first trimester and for that I am thankful.

We did experience a few scares in the first 9 weeks

so that is the reason behind my silence.

We are over-the-moon excited for this (definitely) unexpected little nugget.

Speaking of nuggets,

I have hit pause on the vegetarianism for now.

After 13 years of being without,

my first indulgence was

 none other than the nutritious and ever-so-quality 

McDonald's chicken nuggets!

It was delicious.

As you already know,

my brother and his wife are expecting a little boy come February.

But that is not all for this aunt and uncle...

Alex's brother, Andrew, and his wife, Blair, 

are also with child in womb.

Blair is due in May so we don't know the sex yet 

but I do know that this gal is SUPER pumped to be a double aunt in 2012!

We are truly over the moon.

So my brother, Brett, and his wife, Crystal

are expecting their first child 

which means I am going to be an AUNT!!!!

Crystal's due date is February 21st!!

And they found out last night that it is a BOY!!!

Can't wait to meet my little nephew!

Y'all, Great News!! It's official, we are totally getting a Trader Joe's!

This is a dream come true for me.

Husband and I have been known to drive to Cincinnati to stock up on our Trader Joe favorites.

Normally, I wouldn't be so excited about a grocery store,

especially since I do no cooking {really, none} but Trader Joe's has awesome food

for cheap prices. They also have lots of prepared staples that are easy to heat up and serve! {love.}

Oh, and the best almond butter around!

The best part is Trader Joe's will be less than 5 minutes away from where we live!

Here is the article that brightened my day:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – It has been confirmed that Trader Joe's will be coming to Louisville. The store will be located in the Shelbyville Road plaza in St. Matthews.

The unique neighborhood grocery store will occupy about 15-thousand square feet in the former "craftsman collection" space at the west end of the center.

The store will have a separate wine shop next door. One of the chain's staples is the Charles Shaw or "Two Buck Chuck" wine brand.

Trader Joe's will open its doors in Louisville by the end of the year.
