Asheville, NC

Asheville, NC has a soft spot in my heart.

Over the long weekend,

Alex and I headed to Asheville

to join friends and stay in this lovely cabin in the mountains.

It was super cozy, complete with a fireplace.

(We made a fire each night we were there!)

Asheville is so beautiful.

We had the best of intentions to explore the town but

we just couldn't pull ourselves away from the great indoors.

We sang --

thanks to the awesome Karaoke machine Juliet and Edward brought,

and an assortment of Wii games. (Rapstar anyone?)

We danced.

But mostly, we just hung out with the most amazing people in the world.

Oh yeah, there was also a friendly little push-up competition.

Julie won for sure, she did 39 push-ups.

My arms are still sore just thinking about it.

And of course, we had a snow ball fight/epic game of capture the flag.
