The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) chapter
at my school has decided to create & sell ornaments
to raise money for an artist named Nory Edith from Columbia via Kiva.
As the sponsor of this club, I have been more than impressed
with the kindness & compassion of our students.
They have volunteered their time outside of school to make beautiful ornaments,
raise awareness for this wonderful organization,
and fund an artist in need.
It has been a fun couple of weeks as we prepare for the holiday season.
However, too often, I find myself stressed and overwhelmed by all the to-do's on my list.
My heart is so grateful for my students & their eager hearts to serve.
They have served as a much needed reminder
of the grace & attitude that I should have during this time of year.
